The Casa del Cinema in Rome is located in the beautiful Casina delle Rose in Villa Borghese.
The Casa del Cinema was completely restored and inaugurated on the 18th September 2004 by the Under-Secretary in the Council of Ministers, and saw the presence of practically the entire Italian film world, who enthusiastically welcomed the Under-Secretary. At present, it has three screening theatres equipped with the most up to date digital technology (the Deluxe theatre, the Kodak theatre and the Gian Maria Volontè theatre). It also has an open-air theatre equipped with a screen, dressing rooms and toilet facilities, two exhibition halls and a cafeteria-restaurant run by Palombini.
